        This material is to prepare for section 7.2

Geometry: p.438 1, 2, 4 (drawing a kite), p.442 (sec.8.6- trapezoids): 9, 11, 24, 33, 34, 37

        To draw 37, 1) draw a segment, 2) use a compass and draw identical arcs centered at the ends of the segment that both cross the segment and also extend above the segment, 3) at each of the arc/segment intersection, use the compass set a a different radius and draw two arcs that cross one each of the earlier drawn arcs, 4) connect the arc intersections and you should have a segment that is parallel and centered above the original segment, 5) draw sides.  It should look like an isosceles trapezoid.
